SHIPPING POLICY

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please note that all orders place from 1 – 7 February 2020 will be shipped on Monday, 10 February.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused while our store is undergoing an upgrade.

SHIPPING SERVICE 

Your consignment will be shipped from Cape Town.

Our courier service delivers to the vast majority of South African addresses. This service is available Monday – Friday from 08:00 – 17:00.

Our courier service does not operate on public holidays and weekends. For example an order placed on 9 April 2020 will be shipped on 14 April 2020.  Should a request for delivery fall on the day before a public holiday, the consignment will be shipped on the next business day.

When you place your order, our store automatically calculates shipping according to the weight of items purchased, based on the availability of your items, your postal code.

Consignments are despatched on receipt of payment.

Calculation of costs 

All consignments are calculated on the greater of the total actual mass or total volume of the item per waybill.

Our online system defaults to the economy shipping rate option for local Cape Town, Main Centre and Region deliveries.

Let us know if you want your consignment in a hurry before you place your order.  We'll offer you a quote so that you can make an informed decision about service choice.

You will receive an email confirming your consignment tracking number once despatched.

RETURNS POLICY 

Your positive experience is important to us.

Sometimes errors are made during packaging.

Should you not be happy with your purchase, please contact us with your order number. We would like to follow up on the matter, offer information and guide you about returns.

You are welcome to return any purchased goods within 7 days of receiving the item. We will accept unused goods for return that are still in their original packaging.

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item).

REFUND POLICY 

Refunds are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of handing your package to the return shipper. In most cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

LATE DELIVERIES 

Unforeseen circumstances may prolong delivery times e.g. power outages, vehicle hijacking, adverse weather, closed roads, strikes etc. This is rare but it does happen, so 'late' delivery is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order.

However if your order has not been delivered after the estimated times shown, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.
