Workshop Outline

Part 1: Understanding bikablo® basics for visualisation

  • Explore materials, application and usage of different drawing tools
  • Learn to hold the marker, draw clean lines, and structure your space on the flip chart
  • Learn the bikablo® techniques as a visual language: 
    • Create graphics and text containers/geometric shapes, objects and symbols
    • Discover easy ways to draw people, roles, groups and situations using the bikablo® method 
    • Combine visual vocabulary using overlapping techniques
    • Use colour, shading and space to support the graphic structure

Part 2: Immersion 

  • Practise visual vocabulary: basic graphic shapes, graphics and containers, symbols, script, figures and movement lines 
  • Improve your handwriting—make it more legible and attractive— on flip charts and more
  • Create layout for flipcharts and posters
  • Reflect on application scenarios
  • Practise integrating visualisation into own work context

    About your Facilitator: Gill Cromhout

    Gill's career has focused on enhancing the potential in others.  She is inspired by JK Rowling’s quote, “We do not need magic to transform the world.  We carry all the magic inside ourselves already.”  

    Gill is a member of the bikablo® certified global training team and the official reseller of Neuland in South Africa.

    Gill is the founding partner of a learning and development consultancy which she started in 1999. She has worked across industry in varied organisational settings, and is creative and results driven in her approach.

    Gill graduated with a BA Honours: Human Resource Development from RAU (now Johannesburg University) - majoring in Organisational Development and the Design and Management of Learning and Development in Organisations. She completed the Coaching to Excellence and Associate Coaching Course at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business.

    Cancellations and Refunds 

    A full refund will be issued if you cancel your registration at least 10 working days before the event start date. 

    After this period, the following fees will be deducted from the registration fee.

    • 6-9 working days’ notice: 50% of the registration fee
    • 0-5 working days’ notice: 100% of the registration fee

    Replacing delegates: this can be done at no extra cost. Please contact us to arrange a replacement.

    You may postpone a booking to another date providing it is requested at least 10 working days before the event start date.  To secure your spot at an upcoming workshop, a 20% booking fee will be charged.

    We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a workshop. In this unlikely event, you will be notified 5 working days before the course start date. You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be responsible for any other costs incurred.

    A few words on copyright and usage

    The bikablo® technique and our training concepts are protected by copyright. 

    As a participant in one of our workshops, you acquire the right to use the imagery, drawing techniques and visualisation methods you have learned for your own work.
